Sunpow Resistance Bands

 

This set includes 5 Sunpow resistance bands, each with their own level of resistance. Each level of resistance is better suited to a different level of fitness and ability. Therefore, those new to strength training and resistance bands should start with the lightest resistance band and work their way up! Each band varies by width and color to help better identify each level of resistance. The thinnest supports the lightest resistance, and the widest provides the most resistance:

 

  • Green band: 5 – 30 lbs
  • Blue band: 15 – 60 lbs
  • Orange band: 35 – 115 lbs
  • Red Band: 50 – 135 lbs
  • Purple Band: 60 – 170 lbs

 

The lower resistance bands are suitable for beginners and those who are starting barbell training. They can also be used for warm ups and stretching! The medium tension bands are great for resistance training and pull up assistance. The higher resistance bands can also be used for pull up assistance, as well as more advanced barbell training and powerlifting! All of these Sunpow resistance bands are strong and tear resistant. They are made of 100% natural latex, and 99.9% free of soluble proteins.

These Sunpow resistance bands serve many purposes, but are especially useful for pull up assistance. These bands can make performing pull ups easier, and allow you to train your body to be better able to do pull ups. As you use these to train your muscles and better your ability to do pull ups, you will eventually be able to achieve an unassisted pull up! Outside of pull up assistance, these bands are great for adding resistance to your other exercises. You can attach them to band pegs during weight training to add additional resistance. This can be extra handy with exercises that work multiple muscle groups simultaneously!
