Dr. Laura Meihofer offers an intensive physical therapy program to US and international residents who will travel to Rochester, Minnesota for pelvic floor dysfunction treatment. This program focuses on relieving your immediate symptoms with two treatment sessions per day and crafting a sustainable self-care program so you can continue to build on your gains when you return home.
Pelvic floor dysfunction affects people of all ages and it can be difficult to find an experienced local specialist to treat your pelvic floor dysfunction condition. Whether it’s chronic constipation, pelvic floor dyssynergia, pelvic organ prolapse, rectocele, incontinence, trauma injuries, post-surgical conditions, preparing for childbirth or postpartum recovery, Dr. Laura Meihofer has treated it all and then some. Pelvic floor dysfunction is normal and common but it is treatable. With the combination of the right pelvic floor specialist and your determination, you can improve your quality of life.
The length and content of your program is customized to your condition and wellness goals. Each session will include manual therapy, neuromuscular reeducation, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and modalities. Your program will also include self-care techniques, stretching & exercise programs, and a plan to work with your local practitioners at home for continued progress. In addition to physical therapy, Laura will help you better understand your condition and provide tools for long-lasting results.

Dr. Laura Meihofer is an out-of-network provider and does not accept insurance including Medicaid or Medicare. You are responsible for full payment at the time of services. Documentation for out-of-network insurance benefits will be provided upon request.
