Extra Long Postpartum Pads
After childbirth, it is normal for people to experience lochia; a discharge (blood, mucus and tissue) from the uterus for several weeks. This is normal for both vaginal and c-section deliveries. During this time, one will want to use postpartum pads, which are similar to regular period pads but are longer, thicker, and more absorbent. This is because postpartum bleeding may be a bit heavier than regular periods. It is also important that these pads are soft and gentle, while such sensitive areas (that may have stitching) are healing.
